    Coral kimono + ripped jeans

    Distressed ripped jeans

Y’all, it’s finally Fri-YAY – thank the Lord! This week has been one for the books. On top of starting a new job, I attended a fun meet up with my Style Collective sisters (can’t wait to share that with y’all), engaged with many colleagues at a conference and completed about 100 other things. And if I can keep it 100% real with you, I am exhausted. Completely. However, I am excited to be back on my blogging game this wonderful Friday.

I am so obsessed with wearing colorful kimonos in the spring. Not only are they a fun way to spice up your outfit, but perfect for those cool spring and summer nights. I am so lucky to have snagged this one on clearance. Score! This coral is officially my spring color, so expect to keep seeing it again and again. Ripped jeans are always a classic and staple to keep in my closet plus these cute booties that I snagged from DSW. So versatile and can be worn all year around.

If you are obsessing over these pretty jewels, no worries because so am I. I got all three of these beautiful pieces in my Rocksbox this month. My earrings and cuff are both Kendra Scott. This gorgeous layered necklace is Sophie Harper. I seriously want to keep every piece because they are all so dainty and pretty.

P.S. – Have you heard of Rocksbox before? They are a jewelry lending subscription service that sends you three pieces of jewelry at a time for you to style, try out and decide if you like. If you like them, you can buy them at a discounted price and use your $21 a month shine credit towards it. If you hate it, you can mail it back to try another piece(s). Simple, right? And if you want to try it one month for free, I have a special code for you: lotsofsassxo.

    Spring floral statement

This post was sponsored by PinkBlush. As always, all opinions are my own.

Y’all, tomorrow is FriYAY. On top of that, it’s Cinco De Mayo AND graduation day! I wish you could see my slight nervousness and extreme excitement as I type this. If you’ve been following for the past few months, you probably have learned about my never-ending job hunt which resulted in me accepted a position at the end of March/beginning of April. & guess what? I start Monday. That’s right. The week after graduation. Talk about a double whammy. I’m so grateful and humbled by these experiences the past few months. I am more than thankful to have spent the last 5 years (I know, super-senior FO-real) of my life at a wonderful institution where I have been able to grown, explore, learn and mature in ways that I could have never imagined. #Blessed on the real, y’all.

Today, I’m sure excited to share this fun floral maxi from PinkBlush. If you haven’t heard of them, you need to check them out! Not only do they carry so many options for women, but they also have maternity line. Altogether, they carry women’s, women’s plus, maternity and maternity plus. So there’s literally something for women of all shapes and sizes. I absolutely adore the print and free material of this dress, making it perfect for spring or fall. I paired this dress with simply off-white wedges, a few blue/green mix bracelets from Cynthia 01 designs and light-weight fun earrings from Ettikka. This maxi will be on repeat this summer – I already can’t get enough of it.

Well, that’s all I have for today friends. You can use any of the links under the pictures to shop this look! A discount code is provided there too for the earrings, so don’t miss out. See ya on Monday <3

Accessorizing for a cause: Trades of Hope

This post was sponsored by Trades of Hope. As always, opinions are my own.

Hi, babe! Can you believe it’s Monday again? Neither can I! Last week flew by and this weekend basically disappeared. On Friday, I had my last day at my sweet job where I have been for a little over a year and a half. My co-workers made sure my last day was filled with love, cake, too many nachos & lots of balloons. I don’t think it hit me, until walking out the door one last time, that I was really going to be starting a new chapter of my life soon. It was such a bitter sweet realization. I’m thankful to have come across these great people. In addition, I wrapped up a lot of the many responsibilities that were still holding me to my undergraduate career. And I can tell you for sure, that I have never felt such relief. Now that those things are out the way, only a few more responsibilities separate me from graduation. So exciting, right?!

Anyway, I am so excited to share Trades of Hope with y’all. If you haven’t heard about them already, let me tell you a little bit. Trades of Hope is a jewelry company that works with women artisans who are in a difficult phase of life, such as escaping human trafficking, facing major health diseases, lack of fair opportunities that we have here and many other challenges. In addition, Trade of Hope is a Fair Trade Federation member, which means that the women artisans are paid a fair, living wage in their respective counties. How amazing is that? I’m all for the #WomenPower. What I totally love about shopping on the TOH site is that you can learn more about the artisans and their lives. If you check out the artisans page, you can learn more about some of the challenges that some women may face and the realities for women in various places across the world. In addition to jewelry, you can also purchase handbags, home decor and scarves made by women artisans. I personally love shopping for jewelry and gifts, as well as helping other women succeed and being a supported for them. So shopping at Trades of Hope is a total win/win for me.

Today I’m styling the Warrior Cuff, Harper Necklace & Sunburst Earrings (similar, my style sold out), all for Trades of Hope. I seriously adore each and every piece and they will easily be able to style over and over again.
