Ball skirt + Agnes & Dora review

    Silver Kate Spade Watch

It’s almost FriYAY! HOORAY. I hope all you cute babes are having a great week so far. As for me, I am relaxing by the mountains in Asheville and enjoying my mini trip away. I fell in love with Asheville a few months & am so excited to be back here. The skies are blue, the view is gorgeous and the town feel is just amazing. I know I am going to have a hard time going back to Greenville, so for now, I am going to enjoy this trip while it last. If you’re on spring break right now, thanks for checking in to read along! I hope you are having a great time & are creating awesome memories.

Today, I want to share a short review of my Agnes & Dora products I have received. For one, thank you all for your amazing feedback on my last two A & D post: Spring printed midi dress & 2-way tunic. If you haven’t already, go catch up on these post & see the items I have loved so far. The last item I’m sharing (for now) is a the Ball Skirt. For starters, this skirt is a classic for spring, winter and fall. The length is perfect for colder weather but the breathable material is great for warmer weather – win/win situation, right? The elastic band stretches a fair amount and body of the skirt helps create a beautiful silhouette. Unlike maxi skirts, the Ball Skirt has an Exaggerated A-line silhouette, which makes it easy to dress this skirt up for a special occasion. I paired this skirt with these Steve Madden wedges, a classic black tee and silver jewelry.

This dress is by far, one of the best dresses I have owned. The print is super cute & I loved the fit. I got so many compliment on this dress because of how gorg it is! I highly recommend this be your first purchase from A & D. Because of the length, this dress is also easily dressed up or dressed down. This style dress is called the Curie and is $58.

Lastly, I styled this Hi-Lo top 2-ways. This top is super light weight, so I wouldn’t wear it as a dress in the winter, but for transitioning into spring or summer, it would be a perfect dress. However, you can always layer it up for colder seasons or going out at night. What was your favorite look –Hi-Lo as a tunic or Hi-Lo as a dress?

Altogether, I would HIGHLY recommend reaching out to your nearest Agnes & Dora rep to grab a couple cute pieces for the spring. Pictured here: Ball Skirt, Curie Dress & Hi-Lo tunic. My girl Brianna, has been the best A & D rep ever! Extremely courteous, provided quick shipping and all my picks in stock.

I hope all of you babes have a wonderful day 🙂 Check back tomorrow for my Friday 5 post for this week <3

Transition into Spring: Off the shoulder ruffle dress

Happy Monday, babes. How was your weekend? Amazing, I hope. I spent this weekend trying to catch up on work and cleaning. Sunday, I had the pleasure of meeting 4 Style Collective sisters. Let me tell y’all – I had a BLAST. Who could have thought that I would feel like these girls have been my BFFs since high school? I mean really. Al the ladies were so nice, honest and helpful. I honestly love meeting SC sisters and other bloggers in general, in person. We can all laugh together about blogging, because we are finally around others who understand.

So, if you’re anything like me, you’re ready for spring. This up & down weather is nothing but a tease and I’m ready for 70 degrees, sunny weather and relaxation. Today I’m styling this Karli dress that I purchase at Monkee’s of Greenville. I love that the material is thick and can’t be seen through, but the style is light enough to wear all spring. I snagged my shoes from here. Regardless, I am pretty sure I am going to this live in this.

To all my college readers, happy spring break! I hope you spend this time enjoying life and catching up on some much needed R & R. I’m heading to Asheville, NC for a couple days & I am so excited. Where are you going? Let me know in the comments. Check below to shop this post. The dress is only available in-store, but I linked a few similar spring off-the shoulder dresses for you.

    1 Tunic – 2 Ways

Congrats – YOU made it to Wednesday! Is this week flying by or dragging slowly for you? For me, it’s flying! On Monday, I had the pleasure of meeting Hannah Brencher. She’s an amazing TED speaker, author, blogger, business owner, educator and woman. She was the guest of honor for She’s The First spring semester awareness event, where she taught  a letter writing class and held a speaking event. The day was filled with laughter, fun, (good) tears, memories and learning. Needless to say, I love her. I’ve been following Hannah FOREVER, so it was awesome to finally meet her in person.

So, today I’m styling this Agnes & Dora tunic two ways for you. If you’re like me at all, you have a couple staple pieces in closet that you love to style differently and wear all year around. This tunic is perfect for you! First, you can create a spring dress casual look with wedges and a cute purse. Because this tunic is loose fitting, you can easily wear it to a picnic or for a day out on the town or to mini golf – the options are endless.

Thank you Brianna from A & D for sponsoring today’s post.

Second look: Style your tunic with black ripped jeans, two-piece strap sandals & cute sunnies. Perfect look for going out for a night on the town or whenever you need to pack on the layers. I am obsessed with these jeans and these heels. I wear them each probably twice a week (if not more) So, I would say that my obsession is real. I love this necklace from JimaniJimani is a company that aims to:

    • Provide women with vocational skills through targeted training programs
    • Offer sustainable income and a safe workplace for women who have neither
    • Develop a supportive, uplifting community
    • Showcase the workmanship of the ladies through unique, well-crafted products

Personally, I love working with brands that not only give back, but create opportunities for other people to have a better future by equipping them with skills needed to thrive, no matter the circumstances.
