Happy Friday, friends. Y’all, I am so pumped because writing this means that I have actually stuck to my 3 post a week schedule. In the past 3 months, I have graduated college, started a full-time job, took on freelance work, still volunteering with my local court system and DSS, plus trying to simplify my life and purge a lot of dead weight (physically, mentally and emotionally.) To say that I have been exhausted would be putting this lightly, but in this time, I have found the reasons why I started blogging: To have a creative outlet to share my outfits and life, basically. It has been a very long time since I have actually been able to post x3 in a week, but it feels so good. I think it’s every bloggers dream and wish when you have a great week of content for the blog & IG. I almost forgot how fun it was to engage with my followers, readers and blogging gal pals.
Anyway, today I am sharing this beloved dress from PinkBlush. In case you missed my post on Wednesday, I talked a little about why I love PinkBlush : fast shipping, great quality and a huge inventory. I have never worn a wrap dress, simply because I have always be self-conscious about showing every imperfection in my body. However, I felt nothing but confident wearing this dress. The color and style of this dress is honestly AMAZING. I felt like a princess wearing this dress and never wanted to take it off. Also, I have learned that wrap dresses look good on girls of all shapes and sizes, honestly. I paired it with the new Goldsweep necklace from 31bits, which is a socially conscious jewelry company that gives displaced women in Northern Uganda an opportunity to combat poverty through fashion. Also in Wednesdays post, I talked about how important it was for me to buy ethical jewelry aka #FashionforGood. I am obsessed with this necklace and will definitely be purchasing some new goodies. You can find 31bits on Facebook and Instagram <3
P.S. – This dress is currently 25% off with code “LOVEATFIRSTDRESS”
