Hey friends, Happy Thursday 🙂 I am so excited to be back today sharing a sneak peak for what’s in my bag. Y’all know that I carry about 500 things in my favorite purse at all times, but today I’m sharing my organic feminine essentials that I travel with at all times, no matter if I have my full purse or a small satchel.

So, let’s get real ladies, feminine health is one of the most important and most crucial aspects of taking care of our overall wellbeing. I don’t know about you, but I like to know for a fact that the products I’m using on my lady parts are products that are free of unnecessary chemicals. This is why I only use Seventh Generation™ feminine products. I love how they offer multiple products that are free and clear, especially their feminine care line. I get all of them at my local Target, so they are incredibly easy to find and Target has the largest selection and stays stocked up. I tend to buy 2-3 boxes of each at a time, if we’re being honest. In addition to their feminine products, I use Seventh Generation™ dish detergent on all expensive dishes and china because since they don’t have dyes and all ingredients are listed on the packaging, they don’t stain or react to different types of glasses and plate materials.

So, here’s a breakdown of what I love.

  1. Seventh Generation™ Comfort Applicator Tampons – When they say comfort y’all, they are serious! Tampons are usually so uncomfortable and not fun to have to put in, especially when you are a girl on the go, but these are pain-free and the applicator is easy to work with. I love that the applicator is made with 95% plant-based material which makes me feel more comfortable about using it on my lady part and excited to be contributing to Green conscious decisions. Since I tend to have a heavy flow, I also get so nervous about what tampons will be able to hold up for the amount of time that I am usually working without a bathroom around. Seventh Generation™ tampons have normal to heavy flow capacity, so If you do have a heavier flow, these would be great to try out.
  2. Free & Clear fragrance-free Ultra-Thin Pads with Wings – Okay y’all, I’m going to be real and tell y’all how much I love that these pads are ultra thin. When I am on my period, stressed out, and hormonal to the max, the one thing I don’t need any of is extra fragrances on my lady parts. The pads also work great for me because they don’t leave an impression in your jeans/pants/skirts/shorts that would give away that you are wearing a pad, plus they are super comfy.
  3. Free & Clear Pantiliners- Since liners tend to sit on your skin at all times, I also get nervous about irritation and/or the liners falling off, sliding or moving uncomfortably throughout the day but I am so happy that I don’t have this problem with Seventh Generation Free & Clean liners. Outside of the comfort, the liners do not come individual wrapped which saves packaging and again is another way to be a conscious consumer and shop clean, green products. I just pop these in my little feminine bag that sits inside my purse and I am good to go.

I made the switch to only organic feminine products about 6-7 months ago and I have loved my decision ever since. If you are looking for new products that will be sensitive to your lady parts, are great for the environment and provide incredible protection, head to your nearest Target and pick up a couple boxes for yourself and be sure to check out Cartwheel for any offers. If you are loving more Seventh Generation products, leave me a comment so I can make sure to add them to my list and give them a try soon.

What a great choice! I actually recently made the switch to using a cup instead and I’ve found that to be environmentally friendly too!

You never really think about chemicals being in feminine products but they’re in there! So great that there are companies that don’t use those ingredients.
