Hey, friends! Happy Wednesday to ya <3 Did everyone have a great weekend? I mentioned last week, that the next two weeks would be fairly busy for me so last weekend I got to relax and finally had time to unpack from my last trip and clean my house for fall. Monday, I got to enjoy a fabulous dinner with some North Carolina bloggers at The Cowfish in North Hills. Y’all, if you haven’t been there, I HIGHLY suggest you go right now. It was my first time going and I can promise you that I will be back again soon. I will share more about our entire experience next week, but I was just happy to be surrounded by great friends, laughter and great food. One thing that I have quickly learned in the blogging world is that you have to have a support team. It doesn’t matter if they are your actual accountability partners or just people you can laugh with, but you need them there. I am always so grateful to have found so many great pockets of friends and gal pals through the blogging world that continually are there for help and to be helped!
In case you missed it, I decided to continue my #WorkWearWednesday series for a little bit because honestly, I just couldn’t get enough. So, today I’m back sharing some of my favorite work wear staples in one look. 1. The Harper pants from Old Navy. These pants are a must for your work wardrobe. I love that they are straight leg capri cut because with being short, work regular pants are usually too long but capri fall at the perfect spot on my leg. 2. Classic nude pumps. These may a bit obvious, but I run into so many girls that don’t have a classic nude heel that they can wear for work, church, special events and everyday. This pair is from Old navy, but Sam Edelman makes a super comfy pair that is a bit more expensive and the same pair in black. Basic tees are an absolutely must for any type of capsule wardrobe and I usually get mine from Target when they are 3 for $12 or on a similar sale at Old Navy. So, those are my main staples, but my classic jewelry, such as my Kate Spade watch and colorful stretch bracelets from Cynthia01 Designs. What are your work wear staples? Let me know in the comments 🙂 Thanks for reading y’all. xo, Azanique <3

Happy Wednesday, sweet friends! You made it to the middle of the week in one piece – Go You! (I’m all about celebrating the small victories, can you tell?) Last month, I started to make some new goals that I want to accomplish by the end of the year and my top two were: consistency on the blog and digging back into my faith. So last night, I created an editorial calendar of post for an E N T I R E month. Say W H A T? Right! It was refreshing and fun but stressful at the same time. I remember when I first started my blog, I had so many ideas for what I would do weekly and what type of posts I would want to have and what brands I would only work with, but all of that went out the window once I started actually blogging. I had no idea about the amount of work it took and how many hours I would spend just working on one post. All that to say, now that I have been in the blogging game for a while and will have more time on my hands (life update coming soon), something I can do is be more consistent and start posting more lifestyle content that I have been wanting to do forever. So, there’s that. I am just excited to have a new mini vision for my blog and feel rejuvenated again after feeling so boggled down over the past few months.
It’s #WorkWearWednesday and today I’m sharing this simple work wear look from PinkBlush. For me, dresses are the easiest work outfit. Just throw on cute shoes, jewelry, a little lip gloss then be on your way. This dressfrom PinkBlush is so comfortable! There’s a cute little cutout detail on the arms/shoulders, so if your job is more business professional, I would suggest throwing on a blazer. My Akola Projectnecklace is second-hand, bought from Poshmark, but it was new with tags! This one is almost identical. I absolutely adore this deep fuchsia color because it can be worn all year around, and when I purchase expensive colorful jewelry, I want to be sure that I can get good use out of it through every season. All other items including my bag, shoes and earrings have been in my closet forever, but I have linked super similar finds below.
Don’t forget, you can check out my ENTIRE #WorkWearWednesday Series. I love styling these posts and would love your feedback on if you think they should continue or if I should begin a new series this fall. -xo, Azanique
Happy Wednesday, friends. It’s time for another #WorkWearWednesday post and I’m pumped to be sharing this gingham skirtfrom Dainty Jewell’s. How has everyone’s week been? By Wednesday, I can see the light at the end of the tunnel AKA the weekend. And, this is a 3-day holiday weekend, so it’s that much sweeter to finally be close. This holiday weekend I am continuing to purging clothes, jewelry, shoes and various other household items that I don’t use to make room in my closet for any fall goodies I pick up soon. If you follow me on Snapchat, you know that on yesterday, my clothing rack in my room completely broke. Now, it was a simple little clothing rack that I didn’t think would last forever, but I was devastated that it completely broke as I was leaving for work. So, I am looking for a new, sturdy, clothing rack. Leave your suggestions down below if you have found one you love or have ideas for one. So, I know I am really needing to purging extra clothes so that all the clothes that were on the rack, have a space in my closet. #ShopaholicProblems right?!
Anyway, one thing I love when putting together these #WorkWearWednesday posts, is input from you all. Adding bold prints, such as gingham print, to your work outfits on the regular is something I have been asked about since starting this series. So, I am happy to share this fun look. Because this print is just black and white, I felt like I could still add a pop of color with this purple cardigan. If you’re like me and are practically always cold, a cardigan will be your best friend. No matter the weather, I usually wear or bring a cardigan to work to accommodate the temperature in the building. This cardigan has become my go-to add on to any outfit and I have since, gotten several new colors. All from here, which is where 75% of my work wardrobe comes from. Everything is currently 40% off, so go go go and stock up on all your work and fall clothing needs. That’s all I have for you sweet people today, but I hope everyone has a beautiful Wednesday and a great week. The weekend is so close! -xoxo
