Love how the characters shared so many similarities but were so richly unique in their own way. My heart felt for them in so many ways and I hoped to see them have a little different/more complete endings. We were lucky enough to chat with the author, Lola Akinmade Åkerström, during our #LotsofBooksClub meeting and she was a true treat! I felt the most connected for Brittany and hope to see how she ends up in book two with her marriage to Johnny. *Thank you Source books for the gifted copy!
