Luster

It is quite rare that I really, really dislike a book but this one was an anomaly. I really wanted to connect with and understand the main character but with every new chapter, she continued to make incredibly poor decisions and not learn anything from the last one. She was reckless and irresponsible through and through. At the end, she does attempt to redeem her self and start on a better path but truly, I had a hard time having empathy for her. Out of the hundreds of books I’ve read, I am confident this is the first I would absolutely never recommend.
