Hey y’all! Happy, happy Monday 🙂 How was your weekend? I was able to relax on Saturday then shoot, attend a blogger event, clean my house and edit photos on Sunday. Why didn’t I split up my work over the weekend? I will never know! Because on Sunday I was feeling C R A Z Y trying to get everything done. Last week was so hectic for me that I was excited to spend my Saturday at home. It’s actually very rare that I am home for the entire day on Saturday because I’ll usually go work from my favorite coffee shop, or do a little shopping or grab drinks with friends, but staying home was so good for my soul. Does anyone else clear full days in their schedule just to relax? *Crosses my fingers and hopes that I am not the only one*
Today, I’m sharing this fun fall trend of midi skirts. I absolutely love midi skirts for two reasons: Versatile & Transitional. Versatile enough to be work to work, church, Saturday brunch, girls day or date night. Transitional through any and every season, especially if you pick prints with both cooler and darker tones. I snagged this skirt from Target clearance in-store, not too long ago. I love the pleated detail and the simple print that is small in size but bold in color. I challenged myself to stack colors with this purple top and blue necklace, instead of wearing black on black with a black top and black shoes. I love this simple purple long-sleeve top from Old Navy. It is seriously so soft and a fall season must-have. This necklace is from New York and Company but you can find a super similar one here. Y’all know I love these two-strap sandals and they have easily become my go-to heel sandal.
So, what trends are you loving this season? Midi skirts and blush (the color) are what I am seriously needing to have in my everyday life. Also, velvets are always a hit for fall, so I am thinking about getting some velvet booties. What do y’all think? I personally am terrified that my feet will sweat more in the velvet booties, but I am going to go for it anyway. YOLO.
Well, that’ all that I have for y’all today. You can shop all my outfit details (and similar) right here:
