Hey friends, happy happy Wednesday 🙂 I hope everyone had/is having a fab holiday and time with loved ones. I was lucky enough to get to spend Christmas with one my best friends from college and her family, for the second year in row. I adore spending time with them for all the laughter and fun, but what I love most is that my friend has such a heart for Jesus and it always reminds me of the spiritual path I have taken over the past several years. There’s also no fun that can compare to when you only see someone once a year during the happiest season of the year. Anyway, I am so blessed and grateful to know her, her family, her love and be reminded of how much the Lord loves us.
Today I’m getting back to my blogging roots and sharing a super casual look. When I first started blogging I loved styling simple everyday looks but with the holiday season, I have naturally shared more festive style inspo. So, I’ll start with this super lightweight purple tunic-length sweater. I plan on layering it throughout the winter with puffer vests and scarves then adding boots or booties to style as many outfits as possible. My jeans are a classic favorite that I currently own in a few colors/washes. They have great stretch which make them perfect to wear for a busy work day or for runnings tons of errands but still allow you to be in style.
All my monogrammed pieces are from ML and you can shop them here: Bag // Necklace // Shoes // I personally think monograms are such a cute way to add sparkle to your outfit and show your preppy style. My loafers are so comfy and have been on repeat since I got them. I opted for black versus the plaid option just so I could get maximum use out of them all year long. If you were watching my unboxing video on IG last Monday, I did a full rundown of what I carry in my everyday bag including my laptop, planner and favorite lipsticks. This monogrammed bag is now serving as my go-to tote for work, to run errands, get groceries and go out for a cocktail or two. Now that the holidays are winding down and I’m back into super work mode, I’ll be sporting this casual look over and over again. So many readers wanted to know what personalized gifts they could treat themselves with after Christmas and I totally recommend all three of my ML monogrammed pieces. I’ll be sharing them more on the blog in the future but I already know these pieces will be become basic essentials in my closet. I can’t wait to share so many more goodies to use your holiday gift cards on but until then, thanks for reading. -xo, Azanique <3
